Freight wagon Tank wagon TTA 35T Shell.Prototype: The TTA tank wagons were introduced by BR in the 1960s, with 1000s built to replace aging tank wagons of smaller capacity that it had inherited from private-owner fleets. Used to transport oil and petroleum products, they were still being built into the 1970s, with the last remaining in service until the early 2000s. This TTA tanker has a plain gray tank with classic Shell-BP dual branding and has the fleet number 501.
