Model: TT gauge. EWS Class 37 diesel locomotive.Prototype: Locomotive D6734 was delivered from the Vulcan Foundry in March 1962 and initially allocated to the Hull Dairycoates depot. In 1974, it was given the number 37034 under the TOPS system, and later – after being reclassified as the heavy freight variant 37/7 in 1986 – the new number 37704. These specially ballasted locomotives were used primarily on the heavy steel and coal trains in South Wales, including the 32-car "Merry Go Round" train
