Model: OO Gauge DC. Freight car 21 Tonne Hopper E269527 BR.The BR 21-ton hopper wagon was based on an earlier LNER design which it continued to build in large numbers through the 1950s. Designed for carrying coal, they either had riveted or welded bodies. Many were rebodied from the mid-1960s as they had become badly corroded or distorted through heavy usage. This OO gauge model 21T Hopper Wagon is an excellent replica of these popuar designs.
