Model: O Gauge. Tank wagon 6-wheel Milk Tanker Satlink. Equipped with finescale wheels and chains for prototypical coupling.Prototype: The transport of milk in large quantities began in 1931 with the introduction of the four-wheel milk tank wagon. These wagons were built by the SR for United Dairies, but they showed very poor running characteristics and had to be restricted in speed. To overcome these shortcomings, the six-wheel milk tank wagon was developed for United Dairies and Express Dairy.
