Many railcars are provided at both ends with a grinder. For proper function in block locations and for timely stopping in front of red signals, it is essential that only one grinder is used to power the decoder, depending on the direction of travel. This is ensured by the slider changeover. It is hung between the pantographs and a LokPilot or LokSound decoder with 21MTC interface.
