LB&SCR steam locomotive Terrier Brighton.Prototype: This "Terrier" entered service in March 1878 and was selected by its designer, William Stroudley, to represent the LB&SCR at the 1878 Paris Exhibition. It was purchased by the Isle of Wight Central Railway, where it entered service as locomotive No. 11 in 1902 before being rebuilt as "A1X" in August 1918.
