Model: TT gauge. Class 08 BR diesel locomotive.Prototype: This 350 hp shunter, built at Derby Works, entered service as D3985 at Tyseley Depot in Birmingham in August 1960. It moved to Saltley in late 1967 before heading north of the border into Scotland, working at both Haymarket, Edinburgh, and Ferryhill, Aberdeen, before receiving its TOPS number 08817 in November 1974.
