The DCC80 Autofrog is a simple switch that automatically changes the frog polarity on your DCC layout. In most situations, the use of electrofrog points is recommended on digital layouts to ensure reliability but this can make extra switching more complicated than it needs to be. There are three solder connections on the board, 2 connections labelled “R” - which should be connected to the rails or bus and 1 connection labelled “F” which can be connected to the frog input wire.

Simple point motor decoders for standard solenoid point motors, 2 wire main track or bus connection minimize wiring. As two separate units these avoid the need for long wire runs and the super easy learning decoder requires no special programing when addressing.

This straightforward controller comes with a separate transformer that plugs directly into a wall socket and is connected to the back of the controller via a 1.8 m cable. Suitable for H0, 00 and N gauge layouts or small 0 gauge layouts.Please note that for use in Europe, you will need an adapter for the socket standards common in your location, as the transformer has a UK plug.
